RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUAL - CHILDREN'S HOME

Location: Birmingham, Hodge Hill

Day Rate: £300 - £500 per day

Hours: 1-2 days per week, flexible scheduling

PART-TIME OPPORTUNITY - SUPPORT A NEW CHILDREN'S HOME VENTURE

We are seeking an experienced Responsible Individual to provide crucial support during the establishment phase of our new children's home in Birmingham. This flexible role offers excellent daily rates for the right professional.

THE ROLE:

Join our team as we launch a brand-new children's residential facility. Working just 1-2 days per week, you'll provide essential support during our setup and early operational phases, helping ensure we meet all regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest standards of care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide cover and support for the Registered Manager as needed
• Assist with Ofsted registration preparation and compliance
• Support policy development and staff training initiatives
• Offer guidance on best practices and regulatory requirements
• Provide temporary management cover during absences
• Contribute to the development of therapeutic care approaches
• Assist with local authority liaison and relationship building

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in children's residential care management
• Understanding of Ofsted requirements and children's home regulations
• Level 4/5 qualification in relevant field (or equivalent experience)
• Current enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities
• Flexibility to work varied days as business needs require
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
