Job Description

PK Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and committed KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the S20 area of Sheffield from April 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively

Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

Support and challenge pupils of varying abilities

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and senior leadership

Communicate effectively with parents and carers

Requirements

Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2

Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum

Proven ability to raise attainment and support pupil progress

Excellent classroom management skills

Desirable:

Experience supporting pupils with SEND

Experience leading a subject area

Strong understanding of formative assessment strategies
