Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant with KS2 experience?
We're looking for a dedicated and confident Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Alum Rock. This is a full-time role starting in September, ideal for someone who thrives in a classroom environment and is committed to helping children reach their full potential.

About the Role:

You'll be working as a whole class Teaching Assistant in a Year 4 setting, supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom tasks, behaviour management, and pupil progress. You'll also provide additional support to children with SEN or those working below expected levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
Assist with classroom organisation, displays, and resource preparation.
Offer targeted support to SEN and lower-ability pupils within the classroom.
Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, focused learning environment.
Track pupil progress and feedback to the class teacher and SENCO where needed.
Encourage pupil independence, resilience, and social development.Candidate Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience supporting children in KS2, ideally within Year 4.
Understanding of the KS2 national curriculum.
Experience working with children with additional needs or lower ability.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
