Year 3 Teacher - SloughImmediate start | Full-time | Long-term until July 2026

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a large, well-organised 3-form entry primary school in Slough, and they are seeking a Year 3 Class Teacher to join them as soon as possible. This is a long-term role until the end of the academic year, with the potential to extend or become permanent for the right candidate.

About the School:This successful Slough primary school is known for its strong leadership, well-structured curriculum and supportive year-group teams. With three or four classes per year group, teachers benefit from shared planning, clear schemes of work and a collaborative approach across the school. The school offers excellent facilities, ample outdoor space, specialist support staff, and on-site parking, and is easily accessible by local bus routes and train links.

The Role:You will take full responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging lessons that build on pupils' progress from Key Stage 1. You will work closely with two other Year 3 teachers, benefiting from joint PPA and established planning formats.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, teaching and assessing the Year 3 curriculum.

• Working closely with parallel teachers to share resources and ideas.

• Setting clear expectations for behaviour and learning.

• Attending meetings, contributing to the wider school community and maintaining good communication with parents.

• Ensuring all children feel safe, supported and motivated to achieve.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Strong classroom practice and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

• Experience teaching in UK primary schools.

• Confident behaviour management and the ability to create a positive learning environment.

• Open to ECTs and experienced teachers with the right skills and commitment.
