We currently have an exciting opportunity for a shift supervisor to join a growing manufacturing business working in their laser machine department.

If you have experience working on laser machinery and the ability to oversee other operators then this could be the next opportunity for you!

The shifts for this role are 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday.

Your day to day will include:

- Overseeing machine operators on the morning shift
- Carrying out an efficient shift hand over
- Liaising with other departments
- Checking and scheduling jobs
- Quality inspecting products
- Completing any relevant paperwork
- Supporting operators with running laser machines
- Assisting in other areas / departments when required
- Attending department meetings and supporting with maintenance planning
- Carrying out inductions and interviews for new members of staff for the shift.

Overview of the role : The role will involve supervising the department to make sure it is being ran as effectively and efficiently as possible with minimal downtime.

The suitable candidate for this role should have:

- Previous experience within a supervisor or similar role.
- The ability to run laser machinery.
- A background working within an engineering or manufacturing business
