First Achieve are seeking a Plant Fitter / Mechanic for their client - a leading business in the landscaping sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Plant Fitter / Mechanic to join a well-established company, maintaining a wide variety of equipment - from chainsaws and hedge trimmers to excavators and heavy plant machinery.

• Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance of tools and plant both in the depot and on-site

• Responding to breakdowns and delivering fast, effective repairs in the field

• Diagnosing faults accurately and safely to reduce downtime

• Keeping detailed service records and coordinating with the operations team on preventative maintenance

• Hands-on experience with both small tools and large machinery (e.g., chainsaws, stump grinders, chippers, excavators)

• Excellent mechanical and diagnostic skills

• A valid UK driving licence is essential

• Self-starter with strong organisation and problem-solving skills

• Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

• Company vehicle for site visits and call-outs

• Competitive salary depending on experience (£16-18/hr)
