About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified SEN Teacher to join our team working across specialist SEN schools in South Birmingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs

*

Create a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

*

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals

*

Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

*

Monitor and track student progress, adapting strategies as needed

*

Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff

Requirements

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*

Experience working with children with special educational needs

*

Strong understanding of SEN strategies and behaviour management

*

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

*

A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach

Desirable

*

Experience in SEN schools or specialist settings

*

Knowledge of autism spectrum conditions or complex needs

*

Additional SEN qualifications or training
