An exciting opportunity to join one of the North West's largest apprenticeship and work-based learning providers.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Classroom Tutor to support students aged 16-24 with additional needs, including social, emotional, and special educational needs (SEN). The role requires a passionate individual who is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students, particularly those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will play a key role in helping learners achieve their personal and academic goals while promoting their social and emotional development and enhancing their opportunity to progress into employment.

You will be responsible for building strong relationships with learners, parents/carers and local authorities.

To ensure that all learners experience a high-quality learning programme in terms of content, structure and learning support.

* Learner Support:

* Provide tailored academic and emotional support to students with additional needs, fostering a positive learning environment.

* Offer one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have the resources, guidance, and encouragement to succeed.

* Implement strategies from individual Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) to support students' specific needs and track their progress.

* Foster learners social and emotional well-being by offering guidance, encouragement, and building positive relationships.

* Classroom Management:

* Assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.

About you:

Experience working with young adults with additional needs, including those with social, emotional (SEMH) challenges (education, care or study programme setting)

Knowledge and experience in supporting

Passionate, organised and learner-focused

*

Strong communication skills with a supportive, empathetic approach

*

Commitment to safeguarding and learner welfare
