AEJ Management are an expanding facilities management service company who provide security guards, cleaners & landscapers to retail, shopping, trade, leisure and business parks across the UK.

We have a vacancy for the role of a Cleaner to join our team. The role will be based at The Exchange Building in Birmingham.

Pay: £13.00 an hour

Hours: 12.5 hrs per week, 8am-10.30am Mon-Fri

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy environment within all back-of-house areas. This role helps ensure staff areas remain presentable, hygienic, and free from hazards.

Your duties will include the following:

• Keep all back-of-house areas clean, tidy, and free from clutter or unnecessary items.
• Ensure corridors, service areas, and staff zones remain clear to maintain safe access at all times.
• Identify and report any health and safety hazards or maintenance issues.
• Carry out regular dusting of surfaces, fixtures, and fittings.
• Clean internal windows and glass where required.
• Sweep and clean stairs, landings, and access routes.
• Clean lifts and lift surrounds as required.
• Empty waste bins and ensure waste is disposed of correctly.
• Carry out general cleaning duties across all designated back-of-house areas.

Standards

• Maintain high cleaning standards at all times.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site guidelines.
• Report any issues, damages, or hazards to the supervisor or management team.

About you:

• Have previous cleaning experience
• Have cleaning machinery experience preferable
• Possess good health and fitness.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable.
