Do you have experience in financial reporting? We have an opportunity for you to join a growing market leader, covering their financial reporting, forecasting and systems as part of their commercial finance team. As the Assistant Accountant you'll be an integral part of our client's finance function, working closely with the commercial finance manager to provide reporting and data support to the wider finance and marketing team.

The role:

• Responsible for producing daily, weekly & monthly financial reports.
• Sales forecasting providing clarity and insight.
• Identify & drive process improvements.
• Support the marketing team with monthly reporting of costs, spend and ROI
• Assisting with the commercial team with invoice queries
• Assist with pricing queries.
• Responsible for month end reconciliations
• Assist in ad hoc tasks essential for the smooth operation of the finance department.

Requirements:

• Previous experience of financial accounting, reporting and forecasting.
• Part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience.
• Confident in using Excel
• Experience of using ERP finance systems desirable, but not essential.
