As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned engineering projects from start to finish. This includes:
- Developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements in collaboration with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring work is completed according to agreed upon timelines, budgets, and specifications. Address any issues that arise promptly.
- Coordinating project teams which may include engineers, designers, tool makers, quality engineers, facility engineers, planners, buyers, technicians, contractors, and suppliers. Delegate work assignments and oversee team members.
- Managing project documentation such as drawings, calculations, reports, submittals, change orders, etc. Maintain organized project files.
- Reviewing design plans and conducting constructability reviews to ensure designs can be built efficiently and according to standards. Provide feedback and identify needed changes.
- Coordinating with clients and other project stakeholders on project status, issues, approvals, and sign offs. Conduct meetings and provide progress reports.
- Ensuring work is performed safely and complies with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Providing technical support and guidance to team members on engineering issues. Troubleshoot problems and propose solutions.
- Closing out projects including completing punch lists, obtaining final approvals, and conducting project reviews.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, 3-5 years of related project engineering experience, strong project management and technical skills, ability to multi-task and problem solve.
