The Role - SEMH Teaching Assistant
Seeking a resilient and confident SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-19 with social, emotional and mental health needs and associated behavioural challenges. You will work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to deliver targeted 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils regulate their emotions and re-engage with learning. The role involves implementing behaviour support plans, using de-escalation techniques, promoting positive behaviour and maintaining clear boundaries within a structured, consistent and supportive environment.
