Due to a continued growth, our client is now seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager, managing a team of 4, based in the West Midlands. This is a great time to join our client, who supply some of the UK’s most well known companies.

We are keen to hear from ambitious supply chain professionals with experience in FMCG, Packaging or Similar.

Role Purpose:

The role is predominantly focused on stock management performance. Review and report stock value and availability across the function to shareholder level. This role will have autonomy in managing a category of accounts and the management of the team.

Key Accountabilities:

• Review and monitor stock value with stock availability.
• Oversee all retail accounts
• Act as an escalation point both within and outside the business.
• Manage new retail customers into the business.
• Work closely with the Factory to ensure one point of communication/escalation.
• Work closely with the account managers to ensure they are following the correct processes in regards to new lines/de-listing products to avoid slow moving/overstocks on lines.
• Work with internal departments to further better processes.
• Manage any high-risk projects until resolved.
• Work closely on Slob lines escalating any further potential lines at the earliest signs.
• Manage and review invoice queries sent to the team.

• Managing a Team responsible for:
• Forecasting,
• Placing purchase orders,
• Chasing order confirmations / confirming delivery dates,
• Booking in deliveries

Experience Required:

• Extensive supply chain experience in FMCG, Packaging or Similar
• Experience implementing systems / managing automation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly analytical with advanced Excel skills.
