Great opportunity to work as a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) Driver for a leading company in the fruit and vegetable industry, packing and supplying fresh produce across the UK, based in Alconbury.

Have experience with PPTs? Whether your licence is up to date or needs a refresh, we have a great opportunity waiting for you!

PPT Drivers work on a 4on, 4off shift pattern, from 05:45 to 18:15.

The rates of pay for PPT Drivers are:
Days - £12.65 per hour
Overtime - £15.81 per hour after 48 hours

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for people looking for a long term role! You'll start on a temporary contract, and then go permanent after 12 weeks.

Your Time at Work
As a PPT Driver, your duties include:

- Helping unload and load lorries
- Bringing the stock to the production lines
- Moving completed stock from production lines to the despatch area
- Some heavy lifting may also be required

Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal PPT Driver will hold a valid PPT license and demonstrate confidence operating PPT trucks in a fast-paced environment.
If you have in-house training and relevant experience but do not hold a formal license, we still encourage you to apply - refresh training could be available for the right candidate!
