The Credit Controller will be responsible for managing and chasing outstanding debts, resolving payment issues, and maintaining positive relationships with customers. You'll play a crucial role in safeguarding the company's financial health by minimising bad debt.

Description

Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments
Chase overdue invoices through calls, emails, and letters
Reconcile accounts and resolve payment disputes promptly
Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve issues
Prepare reports on debtor status and payment trends for management
Perform credit checks and assist with setting credit limitsProfile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

Previous experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar finance role
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero)
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
