We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead a bright, welcoming nursery with spacious rooms and gardens for different age groups.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 or above Early Years qualified professional with proven nursery management experience and a track record of achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted ratings. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of nursery operations, staff leadership, and child development, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are delivered every day.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or senior leadership role in early years.
  • Track record of achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted ratings.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early years best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about fostering an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children and staff.

As Nursery Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring smooth operations across all rooms.
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a team of early years practitioners to deliver high-quality care and education.
  • Maintain and improve standards in line with Ofsted and the EYFS framework.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, identifying training and development needs.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
  • Plan and oversee engaging learning activities for children aged 0–5.
  • Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and quality improvement plans.
