Role Overview:

As a Junior Building Services Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of mechanical and electrical aspects of construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to step into a client-side role within a reputable main contractor, where you will gain valuable experience and contribute to the successful delivery of projects in the commercial and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in overseeing mechanical and electrical components of construction projects under the guidance of senior management.

* Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of services and materials.

* Support in monitoring project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to meet client expectations and industry regulations.

* Provide assistance in addressing technical challenges related to mechanical and electrical systems throughout the project lifecycle.

* Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives effectively.

* Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental practices on-site to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Previous experience as an M&E site supervisor or site manager within the construction industry.

* Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.

* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

* Desire to progress into a client-side role within a main contracting firm.

* Background in commercial and industrial projects is preferred but not essential.

* Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
