Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Chef to join our clients kitchen team in Chester-le-Street. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for food, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to grow their skills in a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Head Chef with food preparation and service

* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen

* Support with stock checks and basic inventory tasks

* Ensure food is prepared and presented to high standards

* Work effectively as part of a small, close-knit team

Requirements:

* Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred

* Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices

* Punctual, dependable, and a team player

* Able to work independently when needed
