The Role - Sports Teaching Assistant

We're looking for a dedicated and empathetic Sports Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEMH school in Croydon. This role involves working with students aged 11-16 who face challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or other social, emotional, and mental health needs.

As a Sports Teaching Assistant, you'll deliver 1:1 and small group interventions using sport and structured physical activities to build trust, promote emotional regulation, and support social skills. You'll play a key role in helping students re-engage with learning and achieve personal goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people who have SEMH needs and will be confident using sport as a positive outlet. Your calm, consistent, and encouraging approach will make a real difference to the students' school experience.
