JOB- Production Supervisor
LOCATION- Bristol
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £30,000-£36,000per annumWe are looking for a Production Team Leader on a permanent basis in the Bristol area for a market leading manufacturer within their field. Must have experience within machining environment and strong planning skills.

The Production Supervisor will ideally have the following attributes:

2 years experience of supervising or team leading in a Manufacturing environment
Ability to effectively communicate and lead team members
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles beneficial
Hands on and supervisor split role 50/50
Support and coach team members identifying training needs
Excellent organisational and planning skills are essentialThe Production Supervisor role will involve:

Efficiently plan resources for shop floor and raise any concerns to Production manager when relevant and make appropriate suggestion to eliminate issues
Conduct team meetings & communicate priorities across departments and resolving any issues affecting schedule or daily targets
Conduct daily board meeting with the team to ensure KPI's are being reached with targets
Ensure production plans are created, maintained, updated and executed
Record, analyse and improve utilisation of machinery and equipment
Responsible for enforcing standard operating procedures with the team
Take ownership of work in their area and drive positive changes to the environment, planning and reporting systems undertaking whatever is required within the current business process to make things happen
Undertake appraisals, manage sickness and attendance levels and ensure adequate training is maintained to achieve a flexible workforce
Work with Engineering in implementation of evaluation of experiments, best practice and continuous improvement
