Electrical Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: £34-£36 per hour
Location: Glasgow
Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday + On-call rota

We're recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a leading FM provider delivering essential services across key NHS facilities.

In this role, you'll support the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems, plant, equipment, and building services across critical healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Technician:

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across hospital sites.
Undertake minor installation works, variations and improvement tasks.
Fault-find, repair and maintain a wide range of systems including emergency lighting, fire alarms, generators, AHUs, water systems, medical gas systems and pressure systems.
Participate in the safe operation of LV systems and work within relevant SHTMs and compliance requirements.
Produce risk assessments, method statements and complete all documentation accurately.
Liaise with NHS clients professionally and maintain a high standard of service delivery.
Participate in an on-call rota to support 24/7 site coverage.
Use specialist test and calibration equipment where required.The successful Electrical Maintenance Technician will have:

Recognised electrical apprenticeship (essential).
Minimum 2 years' experience in an electrical maintenance role.
Strong technical knowledge with the ability to work safely and independently.
Familiarity with SHTMs, L8, BSRIA, and pressure systems regulations (beneficial).If you are interested in hearing more about the role, please contact Chrissie at the Derby Office.
