The role - Year 1 Teacher:

Deliver engaging and purposeful lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum

Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where all children can thrive

Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

Work collaboratively with colleagues and teaching assistants to support individual pupil needs

Contribute to planning, assessment, and reporting

The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:

UK QTS (or pending for ECTs finishing this year)

A passion for teaching and learning in Key Stage 1

Knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and phonics

A creative and inclusive teaching approach

Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
