Lead Environmental Consultant - Cheshire - £(Apply online only)/day outside IR35 - 6 months+

We're recruiting for a leading engineering & environmental consultancy seeking a Lead Environmental Consultant on a contract basis to support multiple low-carbon and net-zero projects.

Role Overview

You'll act as the technical lead across environmental work packages, advising on legislation, delivering permitting and planning applications (SWIP, MCP, installation), and completing studies such as air quality, flood risk and containment. The role is client-facing and focused on delivering high-quality, project-driven outputs.

Requirements

Strong consultancy or industrial experience in environmental regulation.

Knowledge of UK permitting & compliance (IED, BAT).

*

Ability to lead assessments and manage multiple project tasks.

*

Degree in an environmental discipline; professional membership preferred.

*

UK Right to Work + driving licence.
