SEN Teacher – KS2 Level (Permanent, September 2026 Start)

An exciting opportunity to join a highly supportive and inclusive specialist school in Yeovil, Somerset. This setting is well-regarded for its nurturing ethos, dedicated staff team and focus on enabling every pupil to reach their full potential. You will teach students aged 5 to 16, working primarily at KS2 learning levels, supporting those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and social, emotional and behavioural needs.Secondary phase opportunities are also available.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Support pupils with a range of complex learning and behavioural needs
  • Adapt teaching to suit individual learning styles and abilities
  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets and reviews
  • Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists and families
Working Hours & Pay
  • Permanent position
  • Full-time, starting September 2026
  • Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Pay: In line with Teacher Main Pay Scale
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong behaviour management and adaptability
  • Passion for inclusive education
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
