About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our students' academic, emotional and social development. Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will help deliver a rich, engaging curriculum tailored to individual needs.

Your duties will include:

Supporting students with learning, behaviour and care needs
Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Encouraging independence, resilience and self-esteem in pupils
Assisting in delivering tailored lessons and activities
Promoting high standards of behaviour and safeguarding at all timesThis is a hands-on, highly rewarding role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.

What The School Are Looking For

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) - essential
Working towards or holding a Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching/learning - desirable
Some experience working with students with SEMH needs or additional challenges
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Positive, flexible and child-centred approach
