Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a full-time, qualified, talented and motivated Teacher to teach Science in a vibrant All-Through School (Reception - Year 11) in Coventry. This exciting new long-term role is to start in September, teaching across the key stages. Physics or Chemistry specialism is preferred.
You will ensure pupils have the knowledge to enable them to develop curiosity about the natural world, insight into working scientifically and appreciation of the relevance of science to their everyday lives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils' well-being following statutory provisions
* Plan and deliver a broad, balanced and relevant Science curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students in line with the National Curriculum
* To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a Teacher and Form Tutor
* To contribute to raising standards of student attainment and achievement in Science and to monitor and support student progress
* To track student progress using school systems and use information to inform teaching and learning
* Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment following the school's behaviour policy
* Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues
* Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals about pupils' achievements and well-being
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience teaching Science within an educational setting
* Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum (Science)
* Read the DfE 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' (2024) document
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Excellent classroom management
* Good Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills
