Receptionist / Administrative Assistant - Primary School (Outskirts of Maidstone)

Full Time | Term Time Only | 8:30am - 3:30pm | Start After Easter Half Term

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a small, friendly and welcoming primary school on the outskirts of Maidstone. This lovely local school prides itself on its supportive environment, close-knit community, and positive atmosphere where both staff and pupils feel valued. Due to ongoing needs, they are looking to appoint a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

About the Role:
You will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, playing a key role in the smooth running of the school office. This is a varied position that combines reception duties with general administrative support, as well as assisting across the school when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the front office and greeting visitors

Handling phone and email enquiries

Supporting with administrative tasks such as registers, attendance, and record-keeping

Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies

Providing additional support around the school where required

About You:

Friendly, approachable, and professional manner

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Confident communicator with good IT skills

Able to multitask in a busy school environment

Previous admin or receptionist experience is desirable (school experience is advantageous but not essential)
