Job Role - Deputy Care Manager
Location - Oswestry, Shropshire, UK
Setting - 3-bed EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) residential children's home
Employment Type - Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern - 2 on / 4 off shift pattern (banked hours - 40 hours/week) + sleep-ins

Key Responsibilities
 Support the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations of the children's home
 Lead, mentor and supervise care staff
 Ensure safeguarding and quality care practices are maintained
 Support care planning, staff rotas and compliance with Ofsted standards
 Participate in on-call duties and sleep-ins as per rota
Requirements
• Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
• Experience in residential childcare - essential
• Previous senior or team leader experience - desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence - essential
• Access to own vehicle with business insurance - essential
