Our client is a top 15 accountancy firm and is currently recruiting for their Northern Home Counties office location which offers a wide range of accountancy, tax and advisory services and solutions to businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals.

They are currently seeking a tax professional who will join them as an Tax Manager.

About the Responsibilities:

Joining as an Tax Manager you will be reporting into the Tax Partners and responsible for:

* Providing advisory, compliance and tax planning services to your portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients within agreed budgets and timescales

* Preparing complex tax returns for corporate and private clients

* Advising on and assisting with technical and compliance in respect of all taxes (i.e. Inheritance, VAT, Capital, Corporate and Personal tax)

* Effectively communicating with clients to ensure they are fully appraised of their tax affairs at all times and are made aware of their tax liabilities in a timely manner.

* Exploiting tax planning opportunities and other services

* Helping to develop the members of our Tax Department.

* Providing technical tax expertise to members of the Firm

About the Applicant:

As the successful applicant, you will:

* Ideally be either ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified with excellent knowledge of UK personal & corporate taxation

* Have sound technical knowledge of UK business and private client tax and commercial acumen

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is essential

* The ability to relate to others at all levels of an organisation both internally and externally

* Report writing skills

* Work with diligence and accuracy

* An ability to prioritise workloads

* Ability to solve problems and use initiative

* Flexibility and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
