Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for dedicated and flexible Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in the Sheffield area, providing vital support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including ADHD and autism.

The Role:
  • Supporting children with additional needs in mainstream primary classrooms

  • Working flexibly across different schools in Sheffield - both on supply and in longer-term/block bookings

  • Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support plans

  • Helping pupils to engage positively with their learning and school environment

Requirements:
  • A relevant TA qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate)

  • Proven experience supporting children with SEND, especially those with autism and ADHD

  • Availability for at least 3 days per week

  • Own transport is highly desirable due to travel between schools

  • A genuine passion for helping young learners thrive
