What You'll Do

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll:

* Assembly and testing of high voltage equipment, including outdoor substations up to 132kV

* Conduct inspections, ductor testing, and quality checks to meet compliance

* Lead and mentor less experienced staff

* Assist other members of the HV Installation team where possible and safe to do so

* Represent Powersystems professionally and uphold our core principles: PriorityNo.1 - Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, Professionalism, Pride, Partnership, and Proactivity

What We're Looking For - Fitter

* 5+ Years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter

* Demonstrable experience with oxygen & propane brazing, and exothermic welding

* Experience working on New Installation High Voltage Switchgear is advantageous

* Good knowledge of BS7671 regulations is advantageous

* Potential experience in mentoring less experienced staff

* Full UK driving license & Right to Work in the UK
