AV Install Engineer

£35,000 to £40,000

Our client are looking to add top class AV Engineers to their team as they continue to grow their audio visual installation team.

Duties

Installation of AV systems to the highest standards including:- 1st fix works, installing containment, cable pull and structural fixings etc. - 2nd fix install of equipment, patching and configuration - Handover checks & assist with commissioning
Work on sites around the UK, potentially spending multiple days away as the work dictates
Work cooperatively with other trades on sites and be adaptable to fit in with the main schedule
Attend third-party training as appropriate for the role, (such as, PASMA, IPAF, ECS, asbestos awareness, working at height, etc.)Skills and Experience

Experience of working as an engineer, installing AV equipment
Good cable terminations skills, e.g. soldering, crimping of Cat5/6 (RJ45) and coaxial cables (BNC), etc
Knowledge of industry standard audio, video and lighting systems
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Hold a drivers licence
