Location: West Sussex An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established children’s residential home specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). With an amazing Ofsted rating, this home supports young people with complex needs and promotes a nurturing, trauma-informed environment. The successful candidate will receive full support and handover guidance, ensuring a smooth transition and confident start. Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily operations of a children's residential service
- Lead and support a dedicated team with mentoring and professional development
- Develop and maintain child-focused care plans in line with regulatory standards
- Manage referrals, build trusted relationships with external professionals
- Monitor budgets, rotas, and service quality to maintain high standards
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, and internal policies
- Foster a therapeutic and emotionally supportive environment
Requirements - Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management of Residential Childcare
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a children’s residential care setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted inspections, and compliance
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care models
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with families, professionals, and stakeholders
