Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role where you can make a real impact?

We're working closely with a supportive mainstream primary school in central Birmingham, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their specialist resource base. This provision supports children with a range of additional needs, including autism and speech & language difficulties, in a small, nurturing environment.

Your Role:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Assist with classroom routines and adapt learning tasks to individual needs
Use visuals, routines and sensory strategies to help children thrive
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to track progress
Encourage independence, confidence and emotional wellbeingWe're looking for someone with:

Previous experience supporting children with SEND (ASD, communication needs, sensory processing)
A calm, patient and positive approach
