Job title: EC&I Engineer (mid/senior)
Location: Bridgwater (hybrid working)

iO are partnered with a specialist engineering organisation who support highly regulated programmes, they are looking for EC&I Engineers.

You would be playing a pivotal role in the design and assurance of complex EC&I systems across the full project lifecycle.

Role requirements

Owning EC&I technical decisions: concept design, system architecture, equipment selection and design justification
Producing/checking key EC&I deliverables
Reviewing FEED / third?party design packages
Acting as a technical interface with clients, suppliers and project teams
Mentoring engineers and supporting consistent application of standards and best practiceKey skills & experience

Strong EC&I background within regulated / industrial environments
Solid knowledge of relevant standards such as BS7671
Comfortable operating as a technical authority and producing high-quality, auditable design records
Knowledge of functional safety standards (IEC 61508 / IEC 61513) and cyber security (ISO 27001 / IEC 62443) beneficial
