The postholder will lead the Council’s Treasury Management and Capital Strategy functions, including development and coordination of the capital programme. The postholder will shape the service area’s direction, develop medium-term financial plans, and foster continuous improvement.CandidateCriteria

• Qualified CCAB/CIMA Accountant with extensive experience
• Experience of capital and treasury finance within a Local Authority   
• Experience of leading on financial strategy and managing a team
• Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
