Are you a passionate and nurturing educator ready to make a real impact in the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school community in Leighton Buzzard this September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to guide and support pupils as they progress through their KS1 journey, setting strong foundations for their future learning.

The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum

Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Differentiate teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs

Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents

Work closely with colleagues and leadership to maintain high teaching standards and pupil outcomes

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching in KS1, ideally in a Year 2 setting (desirable but not essential)

Solid understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum, phonics, and SATs preparation

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching

A genuine commitment to the wellbeing and academic progress of every child
