Are You Passionate About Helping Students Reach Their Full Potential? GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Intervention Teacher to join a local school based in Poole. This role is perfect for someone who is driven to make a real difference in students' learning and progress.

About the Role:

As an Intervention Teacher, you'll provide targeted support to students who need extra help, working closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to remove learning barriers and help students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess interventions for individual and small groups of students.
Collaborate with teaching staff to identify students in need of additional support.
Track and monitor students' progress and make adjustments to intervention plans as necessary.
Provide targeted support in areas such as literacy, numeracy, or subject-specific content.
Encourage and maintain high levels of motivation and engagement among students.
Offer emotional and social support to students where appropriate.
Work alongside parents and carers to keep them informed of their child's progress and areas for development.
Contribute to the school's overall approach to inclusion and support.
Requirements

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
Experience working with students who require additional learning support (e.g., SEN, EAL).
Knowledge and understanding of effective intervention strategies.
Ability to assess and monitor progress, using data to inform teaching practices.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative working approach.
Passion for making a positive difference in students' lives.

Experience with specific interventions such as Read Write Inc., Catch Up Literacy, or similar.
