The Supply Register is working in partnership with The Prospere Trust to recruit a committed and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary-aged pupil with an at Prospect House in Blackley.

This role is available for a January start and will run for the remainder of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs, in accordance with their EHCP

• Support both their academic progress and social–emotional development

• Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists to deliver personalised strategies

• Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

• Proven experience supporting SEN pupils 1:1 within a primary school setting

• Strong understanding of SEN approaches, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or emotional/behavioural challenges

• Calm, patient and adaptable, with strong communication skills

• Able to build effective relationships with pupils, staff and parents

• A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
