Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Product Owner in Milwaukee, WI. Summary: The Software Product Owner will lead the vision to create and optimize essential operational software to our client's organization and help promote sales and customer support efficiency while also ensuring data quality while using agile framework. You will maximize value through careful selection of what developers work on next while creating iterative improvements to delight the customer. As a Software Product Owner, you have the courage and the capability to engage when conflict arises and a strong capacity for innovation. Day to Day Duties as a Software Product Owner include:
  • Distill customer and stakeholder needs and wants into clear set of user stories and acceptance criteria for software development
  • * Advocate on behalf of the customer and business to the development team
  • * Software Product Owner will make decisions about incremental value-add and iterative development within the application using data-driven research
  • * Lead and advocate for agile / scrum based software development framework
  • * Prioritize and order the product backlog
  • * Software Product Owner facilitate scrum ceremonies and fact finding initiatives
  • * Contribute to the product vision and roadmap
  • * As a Software Product Owner, you will implement processes and tools that create a simple, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible options for the customer
  • Perform other positions related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in technology or related field
  • 5+ years' experience as a product manager, product owner, or business analyst
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment; Certified Product Owner and Scrum Master preferred
  • Prior experience working in content management systems (CMS); like Kentico, and integrating with other marketing platforms
  • Scrum and agile framework experience needed
  • Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria so each backlog item adds value to the end-user
  • * Experience in Design Thinking methodology and/or user-based design approach a plus
  • Prior experience working in a customer relationship management system (CRM); like Microsoft Dynamics
  • Prior experience working with cloud computing environment and SaaS services
  • Agile or Scrum certifications a plus (Certified Scrum Master and/or Certified Product Owner)
  • Ability to use analytics tools like excel, Google Analytics, Pendo, Full Story, backlog management tools
  • * Self-motived and excited to work in a fast growth and highly collaborative work environment
  • * Ability to present work to executives and large stakeholder teams
  • * Ability to present problems to your development team and work with them from concepting to releasing into production
