An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing company's technical team as a Fire Door Surveyor based at their Leeds office.

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 + company vehicle

Role Responsibilities

Conducting thorough fire door surveys across a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial.

*

Identifying and assessing issues with fire doors, such as damage, wear, non-compliance with fire safety regulations, and potential fire safety risks.

*

Preparing detailed reports, including recommendations for remediation and ensuring all work meets current fire safety standards.

*

Liaising with clients, contractors, and project managers to communicate findings and provide expert guidance on fire door solutions.

*

Ensuring all surveys are completed in line with current fire safety regulations and building codes.

About the Candidate

*

Experience in fire door surveying is essential for this role.

*

Proven experience in conducting fire door surveys and knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., BS 9999, BS 9991, etc.).

*

Familiar with survey recording software/apps/systems such as OneTrace, Boris, Bolster, etc.

*

Strong understanding of fire doors, their installation, and their role in fire safety.

*

Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects.

*

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for report writing and client interaction.

*

Full UK driving license (as the role includes a company car).
