Join our Project Engineering team at one of our amazing clients' sites in Hatfield, as a Project Leader. This role is crucial in providing project and operational support to maintain compliant operations within our manufacturing facilities. You will ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with Quality System, guidelines, and industry standards.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide engineering technical expertise to support project activities, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Engineering Practice (GEP).
• Lead small engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives, managing both internal and external engineering resources.
• Conduct engineering system surveys and collate data to support project feasibility reports.
• Coordinate project planning and risk mitigation for assigned projects.
• Covering over £100k of project works
• Working on engineering, HVAC, Steam, Water, Facilities
• Manage external contractors for the execution of specialist maintenance activities, ensuring compliance and performance.
• Support Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities within the production facility.
• Ensure a safe working environment, maintaining standards and reporting any incidents in accordance with procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of a City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualifications in an appropriate engineering, building services, or construction-related discipline.
• Experience managing building services projects within the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Working knowledge of CDM Regulations and EHS qualifications is desirable.
• Formal project management training or qualifications are preferred but not essential.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplined team.
• Resilient and adaptable, with a focus on providing robust engineering solutions in an agile environment.
