Do you have a calm, confident approach and a passion for helping young people manage their behaviour and thrive in school? Uniform Education is working with a supportive SEN/SEMH school in West Norwood that is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team this September.

About the Role

*

Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

*

Implement behaviour support strategies under the guidance of school leaders and SENCOs

*

Help pupils develop self-regulation skills, confidence and resilience

*

Provide a calm, consistent presence in the classroom and throughout the school day

*

De-escalate challenging behaviour safely and positively

*

Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a safe, structured learning environment

What We're Looking For

*

Experience working with young people with behavioural needs, SEMH, or autism

*

A calm, empathetic and consistent approach to behaviour management

*

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

*

A proactive, solution-focused attitude

*

Confidence in handling challenging situations professionally and safely

*

A strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children
