We are seeking a proactive and adaptable IT Technical Support Technician to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, tech-savvy, and capable of supporting a variety of IT tasks, including setting up VR headsets, configuring devices via Microsoft Intune, and managing incoming hardware.

Location: Hull onsite 5 days a week

Key Responsibilities

Unbox, configure, and test VR headsets (e.g., Meta Quest, HTC Vive, etc.) Ensure proper connectivity and compatibility with host systems
Provide basic user guidance and troubleshooting
Enrol and configure devices using Microsoft Intune
Apply security policies, application deployments, and compliance settings
Troubleshoot Intune-related issues
Receive, inventory, and set up laptops, desktops, peripherals, and other IT equipment
Perform initial configuration and software installation
Maintain accurate records of asset deployment
Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues
Assist with network connectivity and basic troubleshooting
Support ad hoc technical tasks as needed
Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
