Reeson Education is excited to be recruiting passionate and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Waltham Forest. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant who loves working with young children and is eager to support their early development.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with the class teacher to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children in Nursery and Reception. You'll play a vital role in helping pupils develop key early learning skills and confidence through play-based learning.

Details for the EYFS Teaching Assistant Role:

Pay: £82.14-£100 per day (PAYE)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Across Waltham Forest (including Walthamstow, Leyton, and Chingford)

Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, term time only

Contract: Full-time or flexible supply work available

Responsibilities of an EYFS Teaching Assistant:

Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

Assist with daily routines, activities, and classroom preparation

Help foster social, emotional, and language development through creative play

Observe and record children's progress, feeding back to teachers where appropriate

Promote a caring, inclusive environment where every child feels valued

Requirements for an EYFS Teaching Assistant:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent)

Experience working in an EYFS or nursery setting is preferred

A warm, patient, and nurturing personality

Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum

Strong communication and teamwork skills
