RG Consultancy are working with a very well established business based in Warrington who are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their growing finance team. The role is a new role created to support the Credit Control and Sales Ledger function within the finance department.

The Role
- Manage and maintain the sales ledger and credit control
- Maintain accurate record of customer accounts
- Identify and report any payment issues
- Manage potential payment issues and deal with overdue accounts
- Effectively and confidentially communicate with customer
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain up to date information
- Process and record various types of payments, bank transfer sand cash receipts
- Assist, where necessary with audit preparation
- General accounts admin tasks as and when required
The Person
- Experience within a sales ledger or credit control role is essential
- AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential
- Strong communication skills, particularly on the phone
- Good systems knowledge and strong IT skills
