About Us:

We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in the Nurture Group Provision in a Havering Primary School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you would be supporting 10 non-verbal, ASD pupils. The successful Learning Support Assistant will have bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging the children.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with ASD

Thorough understanding of ASD

Provide 1:1 support for children with high needs

Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Prior experience working as a Learning Support Assistant

Experience in supporting pupils with high needs

Confident in supporting pupils with complex behaviour

Willingness to work part of a team
