Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

Manchester Area | £30,000-£31,400 (Paid at £14.87/hr) | Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm

Looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor role where you can lead a team, drive results, and make a real impact? This could be the one.

This food manufacturing business has recently gone through positive change and is now growing fast. With new customers, a strong leadership team, and clear focus on quality and performance, they need someone to step in and keep operations running smoothly.

What you'll do:

Lead and develop a team of 20-30
Drive production KPIs: plan attainment, OEE, waste, line speeds, labour efficiency
Ensure products are made right first time, meeting food safety, HACCP, and GMP standards
Support audits, customer visits, and product launches
Identify and implement improvements using Lean principles
Manage attendance, performance, and development of your team
What you need:

Supervisory experience in food manufacturing
Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and GMP
Strong communication and organisational skills
Proactive, hands-on, and solution-focused

Nice to have: NVQ/Food Manufacturing qualification, Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP, IOSH/Health & Safety training
