Primary School Teacher

• Daily Rate: £130 - £170
• Location: Outskirts of Doncaster
• Job Type: Supply, fixed-term 1 year 

I am currently working with a beautiful community school on the outskirts of Doncaster to support them in finding a passionate and dedicated teacher to come in on a 1 year fixed-term contract within a Key Stage 1 class. The school is part of a multi-academy trust to whom we provide personalised support and are really dedicated to the children and supporting them in developing their identity and personality. The school are nurturing and focused on personalised development so would welcome ECT’s to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for new, or experienced teachers, who are looking for a long-term position beginning in September 2024. 

Day-to-day of the role:

• Planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Adapting teaching methods to cater to the varying needs of pupils.
• Creating a positive learning environment that promotes student well-being and development.
• Assessing and recording students’ progress, preparing them for exams and providing feedback.
• Collaborating with other teaching staff and contributing to the school community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience in teaching at the primary level.
• Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Enhanced DBS check (Reed can assist with the application)
