We are seeking an experienced and driven Research & Development Manager to lead a small team on a permanent basis. This role will be instrumental in developing and enhancing the company's products and services, supporting ambitious growth plans within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage new product development projects from concept through to completion
Design, test, and develop innovative products
Interpret R&D briefs and ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within budget
Collaborate effectively with all areas of the business to ensure design considerations are fully explored
Provide regular updates and reports to the R&D European Director and Dirctors
Offer technical support to internal departments and customers when required
Chair and participate in design review meetings
Work closely with the production team to ensure seamless product implementationExperience & Qualifications

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
Relevant work-based experience or apprenticeship
Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical design principles
Proficiency in CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Desirable knowledge of PLC programmingWorking Hours

Monday to Thursday: 08:45 - 17:00
